Hello! My old company wants me back. Last year, they fired me due to "redundancy" but now they've come to their senses and realize that I'm an asset. So I would like to ask a few things before joining & wonder if these can be included in my contract:
1- 40% increment from my old salary
2- 6-month severance package if they laid my off again the 2nd time
3- Fixed yearly bonus, minimum 2months
4- Yearly increment, minimum 5%
5- Hybrid working arrangement.
Pls don't assume I hold any grudge. Thanks!

Honestly? If they let you go once, they can do it again. Even with a contract, they might find loopholes. Ops..

Lucky you! It’s not easy to get called back by your old company, means they already know that you're valuable. Go ahead and ask those questions, you never know, they might actually consider what you're asking for. Worth a shot weh!

You sound confident, which is good, but if they laid you off before, it might mean your role is still unstable. Just my opinion la.. but if you think it's fine, then good for you :D

Totally fair to ask, especially since they want you back. A 40% raise and hybrid work are reasonable. The severance, fixed bonus, and yearly increment might be harder but worth negotiating. just be ready for some pushback. Get everything in writing. Good luck! Happy you got your job back!

Man that's not few things, that's a lot haha! but yeah you the right to ask. Based on everything you planning to ask, if the company agree with things you request for, going back is sure a no brainer. I, myself would go back.

That's very clever. Have you discussed any of this with them already? It’d be good to hear their take on your concerns about job security and fair compensation thou

Sounds like you’re in a position of power now! 💪 umm, your demands are quite fair, especially considering how things ended before. I’d say go for it!!

Wow, love that you're being approached again! All your asks are reasonable, especially the severance clause after what happened. Just stay professional and see how they respond cause their reaction will tell you everything 😃
