Lately I’ve noticed more companies in Singapore jumping on the wellness bandwagon. Things like mental health days, therapy reimbursements, flexible hours, even no-meeting Fridays. On paper, sounds amazing right? But I can't help but wonder… are these changes ACTUALLY helping people feel better at work, or just another tick-box HR trend? I still see people burning out, working OT, skipping breaks. Anyone here genuinely benefitting from all these wellness perks?

Tbh it depends on the manager. Our HR introduced therapy reimbursements, which is great, but my boss still expects replies after hours 🙃 So while the company talks wellness, the day-to-day doesn’t always reflect it. Real change needs to come from leadership mindset too.
