How much has the job market landscape in Singapore really changed over the past 10 years? I’ve been working for a while now, and I’m starting to notice how different the job market feels compared to when I first entered in 2013. Are companies looking for totally different things in candidates these days? Or is it more about adapting to new tools, faster workflows, and changing work cultures? Would love to hear what others have observed too.

For sure. In 2013, just having a degree was enough to land a decent role. Now? Everyone’s got certs, side projects, and personal brands. It’s more competitive, and companies expect you to hit the ground running, especially in tech or marketing.
