What really happens if you dress “badly” for an interview? 🤔 I’m genuinely curious. Like if I show up in something super casual, will that ruin my chances completely? Even if I’m well-spoken and have the right skills? I always thought interviews should focus more on what’s in your brain, not what’s on your body. But now I’m wondering if first impressions do matter more than we think? Anyone actually kena reject before because of how they dressed?

I once went in smart-casual for a corporate role and the interviewer subtly commented on it… felt the vibe shift immediately. I still got shortlisted, but maybe lost some points. Now I always play it safe for first rounds. Better to be overdressed than under right
