What kind of interview question is this 🫠 I spent 3 weeks prepping for my 1st corporate interview. I was so excited, covered all bases. I studied their company background, products, management, clients etc. But during the IV, they asked for a time I've led a cross-functional team. Huh?? I've never had a full-time job. What does that even mean?? How are grads supposed to answer experience-heavy questions like this? I answered as best as I can but dunno if that's gonna lead me to 2nd stage hmm

Actually when they ask stuff like that, they’re not expecting full corporate experience. They just want to see how you think & handle situations. Uni group projects, part-time jobs, volunteer work...these are the same skills. Just reframe the story confidently.
Leading a group assignment = leading a team. Handling customers = managing stakeholders. It's okay, next round, you got this 💪

Honestly interviewers KNOW you're a grad. If they're asking that, they want to see how you think, not a 10-year career story. Uni projects, clubs, even group assignments work. You probably did better than you think!

Been there!! lmaooo my first corporate interview asked me about managing stakeholders and I nearly choked lol. I ended up using my part time retail experience talking to different department managers. Got through to round 2 so it definitely works!!
