Serious question! if you’re running late for an interview on the day itself, is it acceptable to ask to reschedule, or should you just assume your chance is gone? 😬 Sometimes things happen... traffic jams, sudden emergencies, or even getting lost, but I’m not sure how hiring managers see it. Would rescheduling make me look unprofessional, or is honesty still the best policy here? Anyone been in this situation before?

It’s tricky, but honesty is usually the best move. If it’s something unavoidable like an emergency, most interviewers will understand if you politely ask to reschedule. Just make sure to explain briefly and apologize :D
