Anyone else over 35 feeling stuck in the Singapore job market? 😕 I’ve been applying to roles for months but barely getting interviews. I’ve got over 10 years of experience in HR, currently earning $6k/month, but I’m finding it hard to transition to a new role. I can’t help but wonder if my age is affecting my chances, especially with younger candidates dominating the scene. How are you dealing with this? Do you also face the same difficulty like me, where age could be the factor?

Hiring bias exists, but experience is still valuable. If younger candidates are getting hired faster, maybe they’re seen as more ‘moldable’ or cheaper. Maybe consider contract roles, consulting, or even a lateral move to stay competitive.
