I’ve been trying to learn Japanese for the past year, but juggling it with my 9-to-6 job is no joke. 😩 By the time I get home, I’m so brain-dead that even simple vocabulary drills feel like so tiring. At most I learn from watching animes and reading my manga haha. Anyone here managed to learn a language while working full-time? What worked for you? Apps, classes, sneaky lunchtime practice?

I’m in the same boat! What helped me was setting really small, realistic goals like learning 3 new words a day instead of a whole list. Also, I found shadowing techniques (repeating after Japanese audio) super useful! it’s like practice without needing much brainpower. Watching anime totally counts too, so keep doing that!
