Engineer here—trying to figure out how to improve efficiency on the floor without burning everyone out. Machines got downtime, manpower always short, and management keeps pushing targets. I know there’s always room to optimise, but where do you even start? Would love to hear what’s actually worked for you—systems, tools, mindset? How do you make manufacturing run smoother in real life, not just on paper?

Honestly, mindset makes a big difference. I stopped chasing 100% output and started focusing on reducing chaos. clear instructions, realistic targets, and fewer last-minute changes. ppl perform better when they feel supported
