Been grinding in manufacturing for years. From line leader, QA technician, then production supervisor. I’ve learned the floor inside out, worked OT, handled audits, trained new staff, and even solved machine breakdowns at 3am. Now I’m eyeing the next big step, maybe Production Manager or Ops Lead. Just wondering… how do you know if you're really ready for that big promotion? Or will management even notice all this extra effort?

You sound like you're already doing the heavy lifting! What helped me: asking my boss what skills or results they look for in a manager, then linking my work to that. Show them you're not just putting in hours—you’re thinking big picture too.
