Manufacturing in SG is getting tougher—costs getting higher, automation replacing jobs, and manpower always short. Then upper management still expects the same efficiency. Some factories are already struggling, but people outside still think manufacturing is an easy, stable job. How do you all see the industry moving forward? Still worth staying in, or better to pivot before it’s too late?

Yeah, I’ve seen some factories quietly cutting corners just to meet unrealistic KPIs. Manufacturing isn’t “easy” anymore. I’m trying to upskill in data and lean systems, feels like the only way to stay relevant. Staying’s fine, but not without evolving.
