Same company, same role in manufacturing, but my pay in Singapore is 30% less than what colleagues in Hong Kong are getting. We’re handling the same production targets, dealing with the same supply chain issues, but they’re earning way more. Is this just cost of living differences or a market norm? Feels unfair, but not sure if it’s worth bringing up. Anyone else experienced this?

Honestly, 30% is a big gap. Even if cost of living plays a part, it doesn’t make it feel any less unfair. If you enjoy the job but this keeps nagging at you, maybe it’s time to talk to your manager or HR. You deserve transparency at the very least.
