Why does procurement feel like a constant battle between getting the best deal and dealing with suppliers who think we print money? 😩 Every RFQ turns into endless negotiations, delays, and last-minute changes. And don’t get me started on internal teams—finance wants cheaper, ops wants faster, but we’re the ones stuck in the middle. Anyone in procurement, how do you manage difficult vendors and impossible internal expectations without losing your mind?

Been there. Still there. Honestly, I treat vendors like partners now. Once they trust you're not just pushing for the lowest price, they get more flexible. As for internal teams… I started looping them into early-stage talks. Makes them realise trade-offs are real. Doesn’t solve everything but helps!
