I’m a female QS and sometimes it’s exhausting how people assume this job is only for men. I’ve been told it’s too tough, too site-heavy, too detailed for girls. But I’ve managed budgets, handled contractors, and visited sites like anyone else. Why is this mindset still around? Is it like this everywhere, or are there places or companies where female QSs are more respected and trusted?

It’s sad that in 2025, we’re still hearing “not for girls” in certain line of work. but pretty sure it doesnt apply everywhere. Some companies accept :)
