I was put on a PIP recently, and it’s honestly been a mix of emotions—frustration, anxiety, and a bit of self-doubt. It feels like a line in the sand: do I stick it out and prove my worth, or is this a sign it’s time to move on? Part of me wants to rise to the challenge, improve, and show that I belong. But there’s also a nagging worry—what if the PIP is just a formality before the door closes? I’m torn between pushing forward to prove myself or using this energy to find a better fit elsewhere.

If you want to rise to the challenge, focus on what’s within your control: ask for feedback, clarify expectations, and track your progress. But also, keep an eye on the bigger picture. If it feels like the PIP isn’t fair or the fit isn’t right, quietly explore other options while you work on it.
