I’ve been a Mac user my whole life, so starting a new job with a Windows laptop has been... rough. The shortcuts, UI, even basic functions feel so foreign and it’s really slowing me down. I’m wondering, is it okay to raise this with my manager or IT and ask for a Mac instead? Or will that make me sound too high-maintenance/demanding? Anyone else faced this before? Changing will take some time meaning some works might delay but I really2 can't with Windows. So awkward using it at home

Haiyaa, just be honest about the struggles you’re facing and how it’s impacting your work. Usually transition can take time, and if you explain it like that, they might be more understanding. But explain it in a way that you're trying to cope with it. Otherwise, they can be misunderstand :/
