I’ve been exploring remote job opportunities lately but a bit confused on the salary side. Do remote roles usually offer salaries that match market rates, or are they typically lower because there’s no physical office cost involved? 🤔 I’ve seen a mix of both, and it’s making me wonder if remote work comes with a hidden pay cut. Anyone else noticed this or have insights on how companies decide remote salaries?

Yep, I’ve noticed this too! Some companies see remote work as a cost-saving move and adjust salaries down, but others offer competitive pay to stay attractive. It also depends on whether they hire globally or within specific regions. My advice? Always check if they have location-based pay policies. And if a job is offering less just because it's remote, ask yourself if the flexibility is worth it
