I’ve been checking out remote job listings on and off, but sometimes the market feels dry… then suddenly there’s a wave of openings. 🫠 is there a specific time of year when companies post more remote vacancies? Like Q1 after budgets renew? Or is it totally random?
Would love to hear from those who’ve landed remote jobs like when did you apply, and were there any patterns you noticed? Trying to time my job hunt better this year!

It really can feel random 😩 but Q1 does seem to bring more action. I started applying in Jan and got interviews by March. Also saw some post-holiday surges in early Sept. That said, I kept a habit of checking every week, even during “quiet” times. Got lucky that way!
