I’m a fresh grad trying to find a full-time office job, but it's been tough. I’m wondering if taking up a retail job as my first job is a good idea. Will I be stuck in retail if I choose this path, or can it help me build transferable skills for an office career later on? Anyone been in this situation? Would love to hear your thoughts! 🙏

Yes, do it if you need the income and experience! I worked retail before landing an admin job. In interviews, I talked about handling difficult customers and multitasking, those examples really stood out. So it can absolutely lead somewhere.
