I currently hold a store manager position. Lately, I’ve been thinking about moving out of frontline retail and into a management or coordinator role in the office, something more corporate, maybe in operations, merchandising, or planning. Has anyone successfully made that internal transition before? What aspects do I need to prove myself? Is it about networking with the HQ team, improving Excel and reports, or showing initiative beyond just store KPIs? Would love to hear your advice!

Same path sis.. and it’s not easy, but I think can la.. I’ve been building my case by sharing store insights in a more data-driven way and volunteering for cross-functional tasks. The shift to corporate is about visibility and proving you can think beyond daily ops.
