Lately my workload got heavier, and I’m handling more tasks outside the office like meeting vendors and running errands that cost money upfront. Usually I pay and claim later, but the reimbursement takes ages, and sometimes I have to chase HR which I really hate to do because it's exhausting. Anyone got tips on how to approach my boss to ask for a fixed allowance instead? I want to keep things professional and clear without sounding like I’m complaining. How to bring this up?

same spot! I brought it up by saying, “Hey, I’ve been handling more out-of-office stuff lately. would it be possible to explore a fixed allowance to simplify the process?” but must be professional :)
