Should Singapore have a minimum wage? I’ve been talking about this with friends, and it always gets heated. On one hand, having a minimum wage could ensure fair pay, especially for low-income workers struggling with rising costs. But on the flip side, some say it could drive up business costs and hurt smaller companies. If we did have one, what’s a fair starting amount? $1,500? $2,000? Enough to cover basic needs, but still make sense for businesses? What do you all think—yay or nay to MW?

Big yay from me. With living costs here, it just feels wrong that some folks still take home less than what’s needed to survive.
