I'm currently torn between staying in my current job and leaving. I've been with this shipping company for four years now. I started in the accounts department and was later transferred to sales, but despite the move, there’s been no real progression in terms of salary.

Not an easy situation.. But remember, you’re already doing something huge by supporting your family. That in itself shows you’re capable. I’d say don’t rush into quitting. maybe try to search new jobs at the moment, then if you manage to secure new job then you quit..

That has me wondering if it’s because I only hold a Nitec qualification.
Right now, I'm earning just under $2,000 after CPF, while others my age are taking home over $2,000. To make things more difficult, I'm the sole breadwinner for my family — I live with my mum and sister, and they depend on me financially.
I’m unsure what to do next.
