Working Student
I’m really torn right now. Wanting to continue study for my master’s, but I’ve got a cushy job that pays well and is pretty stable. Honestly, what’s the hardest thing about jumping back into student life midway through your career? I know ppl talk about time management, but I bet there’s a lot more that nobody really mentions. Like, adjusting to being a “student” again, dealing with younger classmates, etc. Anyone been through this? I’d love to hear what caught you by surprise!

Been there! The toughest part was losing that sense of financial security and adjusting to a student’s pace again. In a job, you’re used to efficiency, but in academia, things move at a different rhythm. Also, dealing with younger classmates? Just embrace it
