Quick poll and advice needed:
If a job is advertised for $5k-$7k, and you have 7 years of relevant experience but are currently underpaid at $3k, what do you put as your expected salary?
a) $5,000 (the minimum of the range)
b)$5,500 (a midpoint, justifying with experience)
c)Something else?
Main concern: Will employers ignore their own advertised range and lowball based on my last drawn? How have you handled this?

your concern is valid honestly. hmm, maybe just put the midpoint so you can counter them with your skills and capability. I'll choose the 2nd option..
