I received a call from HR regarding job i applied few months back. It was a quick intro but HR did ask me abt salary expectation. I didnt want to disclose it so i only mentioned my expected salary frame. HR seemed to agree cos it was within their budget. So, they'd contact me again to set up a meeting within next two weeks. I started to think that my expected salary was too little. How can i express that I want higher salary than what I previously said? I dont want to sound like im asking more.

i also like to point out my situation. I've working with my current job for 3 yrs as FT employee. A new full-timer was employed ard 3 months ago & within the first week was on my same rate of pay. since he's new, i understand his capable of doing half of the role within my department. But the fact that his earning OT rate SGD3 higher than me has got me confused. How do I discuss this situation to management w/o point out his name since it is against policy to be discuss our pay rates with peers?

This is something I'm quite clueless about. I've been to around 15 IVs this year alone, still no results. Does it have to do with red flag signal that i be giving off without realising it. If I wasn’t suitable, I feel like I shouldn’t have been shortlisted at all. Any advice on how to reflect or improve from this

Sometimes I wonder if male leaders even realise how wide the gap is. What’s the best way to get them involved or make them part of the solution, instead of just leaving it to women to fight for fairness
