Can we talk about unrealistic job postings for the software development roles? I saw one the other day asking for 8+ years of experience in a framework that’s only been around for 5 years 😅 It feels like every company wants a capable worker who knows every programming language and framework, plus cloud computing, AI, and maybe how to fix their office printer. Have you come across these ridiculous job descriptions? Would you apply?

Oh yeah, I see these all the time. “Must be an expert in every language, framework, and maybe also make coffee.” 😂 Companies need to be more realistic, it’s hard enough finding good talent without scaring people away with impossible requirements. If I like the company, I’d still apply, but I’d definitely take that job post with a grain of salt.
