I'm thinking about the future of software devs.. where’s the real potential? Where's the dough? Been in dev for 3 years now, currently earning ~$5.5K, but eyeing roles offering ~$7K-$9K. With AI, automation, and Web3 coming up, I’m not sure where to double down and focus on. Are apps still the money-makers, or are online platforms/websites the safer bet? Social media tech is evolving too, is it worth diving into? Curious to hear from those who’ve future-proofed their careers!

I’d say apps and platforms still rake in the money, especially if they solve real-world problems or streamline business processes. With your experience, pushing into lead dev roles or specialized fields like AI/ML could get you closer to that $9K mark.
