Junior Technician
I've been working as a technician for a while, but recently, my family has been telling me there's no future in it. They say I should be aiming for something more "prestigious" or with better career growth. It got me thinking—am I just stuck in this role forever? Is there really no future in being a technician, or is there room for growth if I just make the right moves? Anyone else has proven your family wrong? How did you do that?

My family also didn’t see the long-term value in my technician role, but I started taking extra courses and getting involved in different projects. Over time, I moved into a leadership position, and now they see it differently. There’s always room for growth in any field, as long as you’re willing to learn and adapt.
