I have been working in FnB for quite some time and noticed that this industry is always short of man power. Yet most of the or companies or organisations do not offer OT pay, and we have to do OT. Break time is included, but because of overload works, we have to work through our break time. Due to unable to hit the target, the company is cutting man power, hence reduce part timers. Man are being sacrifice for the sake of the number, that’s why FnB turnover rate is always high and unstable.

Oh nooo.. long hours, lack of OT pay, and never enough staff. Sounds sooo exhaustingg.. No wonder turnover is so high! Have you considered switching to other places? Some other cafes/restaurants might treat the employees better.. )
