Had a well-deserved holiday but man, the vibes at the office? Different. One colleague, in particular, keeps throwing sly comments like, “Wah, must be nice to earn so much can go holiday-holiday.” Bro, I saved, planned, and budgeted for this trip. it’s not like I’m out here flexing. Honestly, it’s tiring dealing with this passive-aggressive energy. Like, how do you even respond to someone who’s low-key mocking you because they couldn’t do the same?

That kind of energy is exhausting. You don’t owe anyone an explanation, but if you feel like addressing it, maybe a casual “Yeah, I saved up for months for this!” could shift the conversation. If they keep being salty, just smile and walk away.
